Teha Ciotti is living the ski dream working at Mount Norquay.
“Before COVID-19 my title was Sales and Events Manager,” Ciotti said. “This season you might see me in the parking lot, who knows, I’m just happy to have a job! This is my 11th season with Norquay and there is nowhere else I would rather be.”
Mount Norquay is following Alberta Health Services guidelines and is incorporating industry best practices so that they are confident it will be a great & safe winter season.
“Things look a little different, you’re going to see a lot more signs and plexiglass everywhere,” Ciotti said. “The main things we need from our visitors this year are to stay home if your feeling sick. You have to wear a PROPER face covering inside the buildings, in lift lines and while riding the lift. Don’t make us tell you, just wear it. Maintain a two metre physical distance. A full ski distance usually works. Sanitize and wash your hands often. You can’t go more than 10 feet around here without finding a station. Lastly you need to pre-purchase your tickets online. We are limiting the number of daily tickets available for sale so we don’t overcrowd and were collecting contact tracing info at the same time. If you have a Seasons Pass, you’re family and family is always welcome!!”
